Dr Sanjeev Kumar subsequently released a video on social media, alleging that the police had attempted to search his house and arrest him without a search warrant or any legal documents. The sudden arrival of personnel in approximately seven vehicles led to increased activity around the house, with supporters gathering at the spot. The police action, taking place amid the election atmosphere, sparked speculation and political discussion in the area.
In a video posted on social media, the RJD candidate strongly objected to the police visit. He alleged that the personnel had arrived with the intention of entering his house, conducting a search and arresting him without a valid warrant or supporting legal documents. He described the action as an alleged attempt to exert psychological pressure on him immediately before the election.
Despite the presence of a large police contingent late at night, no one was arrested. After the candidate and his supporters raised questions about the action, the police team returned without detaining anyone.
